[1.1.2 OTB] Downgrade/Activate/Jailbreak MADE EASY (For Newbies)

hiiiii every1,

i have a 1.1.2 OOTB iphone with 4.6 bootloader...
now, i have a doubt...plz clarify it...
as there is no unlock still available, can i temporarily use it as ipod touch (by this method) & when the unlock is available later in future, then is it possible to apply that unlock and fully use the iphone???

simply saying,
does the usage of my iphone as ipod until the release of 1.1.2 BL4.6 unlock, pose any problems in the future unlocking of my iphone???

plzzz ans me...

i have one more problem now... The phone kept telling me that I am running out of memory.

But when I went into the "Settings" to check out on the disk space, it shows that i have 6.3GB..!

I will also show "Waiting for Activation" pop up once in a while. However, good thing is that there is an option to select "Dismiss"

Franky speaking.. nobody know how to answer this until the Dev team comes up with the SIM Activation solution..

For everyone, where WiFi is not working.

You can downgrade to 1.0.2 jailbreak with iBrickr or iDemocrazy(no wifi needed) and then install Oktoprep on 1.0.2 and then update directly on 1.1.2 no need for 1.1.1.

After that the normal procedure again.

Got a problem at the first step.
I dowload the 1.1.1 firmwire, but when i want to select it in iTunes, it's a folder!
Changing the name did'nt have any effect.
Please help!!!

I have received my TURBOSIM and i have proceeded with the STEPS descrbed on one of the threads on this forum and it WORKED PERFECTLY

I can now make phone calls and send and receive SMS !!!!
it was very easy steps to follow, nothing fancy !
I ecourage every1 to do it

I have a problem in the end of step two, actually when I go to install Appsnap he gets me back to activation like it should, but when I slide it dont restart, just stays on the emergency call screen and thats it?!

I appreciate any help, kinda in panic here

so if i dont have an AT&T sim card i can not jailbreak it? or fallow all these steps? cuz i dont live in the us..thank you

I currently have a 1.0.2 4gb which I successfully unlocked. I was thinking of getting my dad an iphone for Xmas but he already has cingular. don't want to get a new plan or anything and want to add 3rd party apps so by following this tutorial will he be able to use the phone fine? I have read that even with AT&T service ppl have not been able to use the new 1.1.2 phones after jailbreaking it, but if done right everything should work fine right?

could u give me details about turbosim...
how much it costs???.....where to get it???.....
i think we hav to cut our sim in corner carefully....is it easy to do???
& lastly,
does all the iphone features work with turbosim?
and if in future, if an 1.1.2 software unlock comes, can i shift over to that unlock?
