[1.1.2 OTB] Downgrade/Activate/Jailbreak MADE EASY (For Newbies)

Hi, do you have the same error as what I have encountered? I am thinking of running the Windows.bat again on my iPhone, however, do not know whether it is neccessary to install "Oktoprep" again on the 1.1.2.

Any advise? :)

I had JAVA installed on my windows XP so i opened jailbreak.jar straight without the windows.bat and it worked

I was following the steps till the AppSnapp install. When i click on the install, it brought me back to the main "Activate iPhone" screen. But the phone never rebooted - despite waiting for awhile. Re-did the AppSnapp a few times but similar result.

Anyone has this issue and has managed to resolve it?

hi guys,

i was trying to activate and jailbreak my 1.1.2 OTB iphone, and was connected to wi-fi and tried to open jailbreakme.com but safari gave some errors like "safari cant find server bla bla...". Could it be a temporary down-server problem or am i doing smth wrong?

Sometmes youtube doesnt work unless u get connected to the wifi and you visit the Itunes store on your iphone first, then it will work

Fallen at the first hurdle!

Im trying to downgrade to 1.1.1 and have downloaded the file. However I cant choose the file that I have downloaded. Have renamed the file to

iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw

But it is just greyed out when i select it in iTunes. Can someone please help to what I am doing wrong?

It all worked! i have a 1.1.2 with .13_G.
all worked till i reached TURBOSIM :s
what is turbosim? where to get it? is it required? can i get it online?
ps. am in the middle east

Does the all procedure work on a PPC MAC or it needs a MACINTEL??
