after i follow this step i would end up with fw 1.1.1 right ? can i update it to 1.1.2 through itune after this step?
Hii,
Thanks for the guide ... it was simple & amazing !! it worked well on my iphone with 4th & 5th digit 47 ... hence it had 1.1.2
Now i have 1.1.1 with your tutorial ..... Thanks once again.
I reside in a country where there are other GSM networks & AT&T isnt supported here.
I want your help to know how should I crack the simlock to use any other GSM sim card
Can you pls advice me ....
Thanks in anticipation !!
I had the same problem as you did two nights ago. I downgraded my 1.1.2 OOB to the 1.1.1 firmware and had no signal. I upgraded back to 1.1.2 and jailbreaked and the signal finally started coming in.
I got it!
My OOTB 1.1.2 - Week 47 is now Activated and Jailbroken!
But I can't upload files to the iPod, what is wrong?
Shouldn't I use iTunes?
This is because your iPhone has a 1.1.2 baseband. If you want to use 1.1.1 you have to use 'BB Downgrader (1.1.2)' in the unlocking tools.
Here is a guide to help you do this:

I have a 04.02.13_g too .. Has anyone came up with a solution to unlock this version yet ?
Up to here everything worked fine with me, but when I click on "Install AppSnapp", then the iPhone returns very quickly to the Activation screen, and apparently nothing has been installed, so I can't get rid of the Activation screen. I tried it several times, and, yes, unfortunately I have a 04.02.13_g.
What may be wrong?
You are wrong. If you were able to downgrade the baseband on a new OTB 1.1.2 iphone you'll be able to unlock it !!!! But the new bootloader won't allow you to downgrade it , this is the reason why OTB 1.1.2 are still unlockable. The method described in the post you mentioned only works with the 3.9 old bootloader.
My 2 cents,
