my iphone is totally screwed up. when i turn it on it shows the apple and after that it reboots with all this text that scrolls down really fast for about 5 seconds then restarts back to the apple screen. anybody know what gives?

What kind of text, like
BSD root major.......

i spent the whole night on this website seaching for information and finally got my phone back to the virgin state. now i have jailed broken and activated the phone but now i cant seem to be able to unlock it to use tmobile's service. any help?

Hi, how r u all doing?
Actually i want to upgrade my iPhone 1.1.1 to 2.2.1 firmware, whenever i download the firmware, first of all it is in compressed form and when i extract it on my INTEL PC USING WINDOW VISTA ULTIMATE it show's only three .dmg files, one firmware folder,.fseventsd folder,Restore.plist, kernelcache.release.s518900x files. But there is no .ipsw file..
please help me in this problem as i want to upgrade my Iphone to 1.1.1 to 2.2.1 with winpwn AS SOON AS POSSIBLE..!!
if somebody can give me a link of the real 2.2.1 firmware and give step by step information about how to upgarde your iphone will be gr8 for me..!!

Try downloading the firmware using a firefox browser if you have any more problem please post in the iphone/general section

Instead of unzipping the file, change the extension to ".ipsw". The IPSW itself is an archive, and some browsers/systems recognize it as such.

should be working with these things
