    Default How to upgrade original iPhone with 1.1.1

    i have an original iPhone jailbroken and running tMobile (model number: MA712LL) running software version 1.1.1 (3A109a).

    What are my options for upgrading the software? I've searched high and low without luck. Would hate to just one day throw away the iphone as it still works great. Doing some weird things though and i think it definitely needs an update soon.

    do you know how it was unlocked?

    more than likely just goto iclarified.com and find any tutorial on updating jailbreaking and unlocking the Iphone 2g 3.1.2

    Currently it should work on iOS 4.x - 6.x

    Mac 3.1.2

    Check you are not using a sim proxy (this is where your sim card is sandwiched with another thin card that convinces the iPhone it is unlocked). If so you must remove this before you upgrade.

    Do not use blackra1n, you will end up with more problems to fix afterwards.
