USE THE SEARCH FEATURE IN FUTURE
your iphone will have a modem firmware that is incompatible with firmware 1.1.1
the modem firmware checks the main firmware and if its not 1.1.2 it wont work at all (its basically temporarily bricked the phone)
you have to update to 1.1.2 to get it working

go to this youtube video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Adray...eature=related
its to use with turbo sim but the first process's are exactly the same so it should help you. however he does do it on windows, but it should still answer your question about the connectivity of the iphone and the computer

this "problem" is all over this forum
its called unlocking, and allows you to use other sim cards other than at&t (for US iphones)
at the moment, you cant unlock 1.1.2 with bl 4.6. you have an expensive itouch, or get a pay as you go AT&T sim...

Hello everyone!!
I'm New Here.
I have a new uk 1.1.2 Uk iphone.
I already read this tutorial 100 times
But i had an error in the first step.
I putted correctly the iphone in the restore mode (blank screen), but when i chose the 1.1.1 file (iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw) iTunes reported 1403 error which isn't mentioned anywhere?
Could you help me please?
