I have successfully Jailbroken it to 1.1.1 and it works fine.
My question is:
Should I try and Jailbreak it all the way to 1.1.2 Like the UK thread or do I have a different Phone and MOST importantly should I do it NOW before 1.1.3 comes out?
Or will I be able to upgrade(to 1.1.2) even when the 1.1.3 comes out?
Please let me know and is there any big difference bewteen 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 for a Jailbroken phone only?

Does the Iphone O2 UK jailbreak work the same on a US iphone jailbreak 1.1.2?
Please let me know. wanted to try and jailbreak it up to 1.1.2 and not sure if it is even worth it first of all and if it is possible.

3G O2 sim works fine, just follow all guides as they say, and also do what they say about getting edge working
i did it, and have full edge (or gprs when edge isnt available)

well i did something wrong. I'm at 15) Safari should now close automatically! and so it did. It said it takes a minute so i waited for 15 just to be sure and it didn't restart. So i tried turning it on and i get the emergency slider, so jailbreak failed, right? Now i'm at the slide and i tried dialing *#307# again. Now it calls and after the phone rings flashes the answer/decline button and goes back to the slide as the phone keeps ringing and I can't do anything but to turn the phone off to stop it. So what did i do wrong? does it take more than 15minutes for the whole appsnapp operation. What should i do now? Any help? thanks

ok now it works, i while it was ringing i just kept pressing 0 like 10 times and the answer/decline came up. Don't know what was wrong with it. Seemed like it was frozen earlier.

ok, loving it so far. been playing with the satellite for an hour but now itunes doesn't find the phone when i connect it. worked before jailbreak but now it doesn't launch itunes when connected or find it even if it's already running. iTunes 7.5. went from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and back to 1.1.2.. Did i miss some settings?

Hi all, not sure if this has been covered.

I'm at Jailbreakbreak 1.1.2 step 4 part 4 and am on windows. I'm having a problem when clicking on the MS Dos Batch file. No comand prompt screen appears, well for the tinyest fractoion of a second.

Have tried the following (well to the best of my ability, haven't used comand prompts before)

Step 4) part 4) "load up terminal" = "open windows command prompt"
Step 4) part 4) "type ./osx" = "run windows.bat file which you find in that directory"

Can anyone help? Almost there, but not quite, very frustrating.

Basically I'm not getting any window popping up "talking about the 1.1.2 jailbreak and ticking the enable ssh box" for soem reason

Never had Java installed, what a belle nd I am . Will let you know if it works for me after this process.

Try restarting the phone, and doing the whole step again. (i.e. The 'Jailbreaking 1.1.1' section of the guide) Should work fine. Sometimes the iPhone gets stuck in that mode, a simple restart fixes it.

Once you've got to the jailbreakme.com page on Safari (on the iPhone), you just tap install appsnap, and the Safari will suddenly close. Make sure your auto-lock is set to never, and do the slide to emergency thing till you're on the keypad bit. Then just leave the iPhone. If everything is fine, it'll suddenly restart in about 30 seconds.

Note:I physically can not add anymore FAQs, as the first post (i.e. the guide page) has already reached the character limit. (Thus cant type anything more in!) Probably due to all the stupid questions in there, but thats another rant for another day.
