Jailbreakme doesnt seem to run on 1.0.2 so im stuck again....hmmm any thoughts anyone? Once again thanks for everyone's help with this.

I had the msg re the Octoprep ..

Try that again AND make sure you see a msg that say it worked

I did not use this guide, and the one i followed had not this step:

16) Now go into Installer, then into 1.1.1 Tweaks, then select & install OctoPrep. This
is very important!! Without this, you wont be able to jailbreak 1.1.2 Once
done, proceed to the next step. (Btw, this was the hardest part of the procedure,
the rest is a piece of cake really )

Its OK now!

you do loose it. by installing custom software, that voids it
you can restore to original, but then its unactivated so you have a problem with a phone you technically cant have been using...
im just hoping that i dont get any problems

and what about if I'll try to unlock it, and something will go wrong, and I won't be able to finish this process for some reason or if I will unlock it, and then change my mind, can I restore everything to default and return this phone to the shop, during 14 days(I can say, that I couldn't pass the credit check..?...So, I just want to know, can they found out that I tried to unlock the phone and won't make a refund?...

It depends on how keen the Genius at the Apple Store is (assuming that is where you purchased it from). There are ways of finding out I understand

Hi Ive tried everything but still no signal. Im going to try another O2 sim tomorrow but i doubt theres a problem with mine.

Anyone have an idea?

Its 4GB Iphone
Version: 1.1.2 (3B48b)
Modem Firm: 04.02.13_G

Not sure of the bootloder version it all works just no signal.

Tried anySim 1.1 and 1.2
Running on 1.0.1/1.1.1/1.1.2 noone of em worked works an iphone that err doesnt phone anyone as i cant get a boody signal.
Sim was bought through Carphone Warehouse could that make difference (not with the phone)?
