Help!

I cant find MobileDevice_7_4_2.framework.zip.html anywhere as the r****share link reports a NETWORK ERROR
nor can I find itunes 7.4.2 to download (i currently have 7.5)

So now Im stuck. Links anyone?

I think Ive got itunes 7.4.2 so all may not be lost...I will keep you posted.

Hi all, just wanted to say hi, i am new hear, but i have read all the post hear on this amazing guide, and so i hope if i ask a question, and it already has been asked then i am sorry,

ok so i went in to my local CPW today and got a i iphone, witch i can tell you was a experience, lol, once i agreed to buy the phone i was told i would not be able to pay in cash ?? man i kicked up such a fuss, anyway they said ok they would take cash, BUT then i was told if i did not activate my iphone they the people from CPW would come and collect the iphone, !!!! to witch i laugh out loud and said i liked to see you try, anyway i paid cash and they don't know where i live, lol, right that over with sorry i just though that might be a funny story to tell..

ok now to the first question

1. Can i Jailbreak & Bypass Activation for the iPhone i just got from CPW running 1.1.2 i think with a Powerbook G4 PPC (sorry if this is a stupid question)

2. I am pretty confident that if i follow everything in this guid i will be able to put a PAYG 02 sim in this phone, and if i get it wrong i can just do a restore, and the phone should go back to the original state that it was in when i got it.

3. ok if the above is true, when the unlock come out for 1.1.2 will i be able to use it, if i use this guide

4.ok just one more thing dose anything, CPW could make me take back the phone if i dont activate it

p.s the phone is still unopened just waiting for someone to let me know if it's ok to go on.

I have used a PPC G$ PowerBook to unlock my iPhone with no problems

Yes, absolutely. A restore from iTunes will put it back to the state it was in when you got it.

There shouldn't be any problems AFAIK

I am not aware that CPW can take the iPhone back if not activated. I do know though they will not give a refund unless you fail the credit check (look at your receipt!)

All you need to know is here. The only parts I am trying to sort out now are the You Tube and also EDGE.

OK so Ive installed iTunes 7.4.2 yet Independence MobDev says Ive still got the wrong MobileDevice Framework so I really need to get hold of it.

Someone must have it from when they used it for their unlock.
If you can PM me and I can get it from you. Id really appreaciate it cos at the moment Im going crazy and my girlfriend is getting pretty miffed with my mood.

have you read the independence readme???
it says in it:
3) If it reports that you do not have the correct version of iTunes installed, then you'll need to find the version of the MobileDevice framework that was installed with iTunes 7.4.2 and put it somewhere on your computer. Something useful might be at:

Oh yes I've read as much as my little brain will handle. So much so things keep falling out the other side. As I say Ive been quite fastidious.

The thing is I know I need that file and Ive already tried to get it from rapid share but the site is giving me a NETWORK ERROR when I try to download the file. Its been off all day.

I cant move any further until I get that file as even though I installed itunes 7.4.2 it didnt add the correct 7.4.2 MobileDevice.framework occurding to MobDev

phew thank god. ********** came back online (of sorts)

Now iNdependence can seem to see the iPhone and connect. I see there are some answers to this but have tried reconnecting a few times without any luck.

Any ideas?
