when u install the 1.1.2 or something on the iphone and it goess back to activate screen and you have to go to number for a cal and seposed it has to restart itself..doess it go when i go to the number or when u get the you have to wait a while or what? cuz i'm now at the part then you side for a call seposed it hasi to restart but already 3 minuts at the screen and nothing new happening..pls help?

Now press the MENU BUTTON and THE POWER BUTTON at the same time and keep pressing them until Itunes tells you that it has detected that your Iphone is in recovery Mode, this could take something from 10 seconds to 30 seconds, so keep pressing both buttons until you get the message

I'm confused about the menu button, is that the menu key on a mac keyboard?

No. The menu button is referred to the HOME button on iPhone. Nothing about
Mac or PC.

It's right next to the 'ANY' key...

Ya I figured it out about 30 seconds after I posted that message... I felt kinda dumb :p

I'm having a problem upgrading my firmware to 1.1.2 from 1.1.1., because I accidentally missed this step: If you are asked to update your Installer please do it (if you updated don't forget after the update installs press the HOME button, it will take you back to the SLIDE TO UNLOCK page )

I don't think I hit the home button, and now that the installer is upgraded, I'm brought back to the full menu. When I tried clicking on the left button of iphone on itunes (under the update/restore page), nothing happens. I can't get the installer to recognize tweaks 1.1.1, so I can't prep to install. And I can't seem to uninstall the Installer so that maybe I could try to upgrade it again.

What should I do? Now I can't upgrade to 1.1.2...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I got to the end of step 3 but for some reason when i slide across (emergency) the iphone DOES NOT restart automatically but i'm just stuck at the dial pad.

I have a problem with connectingy iPhone to iTumes after dowgrading firmware to 1.1.1.
I can connect it to iTunes only first time after flashing firmware, than iTunes is freezing and not detecting it.
I'm using eMac with USB 1.1 and I have imstalled Installer and few oher apps.
