regardingstep 3... what if I don't have AT&T sim card? can I use a different one?

So I went to jailbreak, and when i hit install AppSnap on the website, nothing happened, just reverted back to the Activate screen. Did this about 3 times, waited 5-10 minutes...so I just restored back, what should i do?

i have my iphone activated wit att after i jailbrake it will it still be activated 2 att and will every thing work thx

hey .. i'm here tying to downgrade my iphone... (using a mac PPC) and when i download the downgrade 1.1.1 it opens into multiple files ... how do i know which file install .. because i tried one of the files and i got an error 1403 .. ohh and i'm using a OTB 1.1.2 bl 4.6

hi raffi and everyone, everyone here has been so generous in sharing there ideas, as raffi did with me in earlier posts discussing this process...well i finally decided to do it i ordered the turbo sim and begain the process, everything worked great raffi thanx, except for one thing i dont know how major or huge this is, i was able to do steps 1-3 perfectly thanx to ur guide, as i reached stepped 4 and began uprading to 1.1.2, itunes downloaded the software it needed and began the process...yet i did recieve an error message "1605" saying update has failed (no french sliding result ) now my iphone is stuck in restore or recovery mode with the plug and itunes icon again, so is itunes,... the phone description on itunes said 1.1.1 after success with step 1-3, now after failure to update back to 1.1.2 eveyrthing is gone and there are "dashes" for the descriptions of the serial , verion etc...
any ideas guys? did i download a corrupt file doe this mean i have to start the whole procedure over? any ideas thnx.

guys i redid the procedure i get the same error this is what it says --> the iphone untitled playlist could not be updated. an unknown error has occured (1602)

You can download the 1.1.2 firmware package and store it on your pc. Then, hold shift (option) when you click "update". You can then browse to the 1.1.2 FW and upgrade to that.

Hi all, i have a 1.1.2 iphone with turbosim, as i live in australia.

I have been suffering a problem where i cannot do anything that involves using the keyboard, i.e. sms, safari...

It was working fine, but then all of a sudden it stopped. most annoying

So i want to just reset it so that this problem will hopefully be fixed. If im already unlocked and all that stuff on 1.1.2, when i reset it, should i go back to 1.1.1 and do all the jailbreaking and stuff, or can i just reset to 1.1.2 and it should be fine.

And if i do the whole thing, if i dont have an att sim, what do i do then?
