I have fallow the manual, til step 3

"Now, hit contacts again and then Testing, this time go to the "jailbreak.unlockthatiphone.com" URL
Safari will open and loan the page, PRESS ON THE TOP OF THE SCREEN TO GET THE ADDRESS BAR AND CHANGE IT TO "http://jailbreakme.com" and hit GO when the page loads scroll to the bottom and click on "Install AppSnapp".

Safari will now close and your iPhone will now go back to the Activation Screen."

I have try several times and there is no way , safari closes like it has but the phone is not jailbreak. Any help?

DONE, the problem ist the ISP, fails open the url, got the wifi from a friend (other ISP) and works, Phone is Jailbreak.

But now, i have a 1.1.2 downgradet to 1.1.1 iphone. AND I DONT WANT TO UPDATE AGAIN TO 1.1.2. Not necesary, how do i unlock the sim? again with anysim? its a 1.1.1 now, will i have problems with the bootloader?

Okay, AnySIM not, dosen´t work, i have try.

So waht else? there must be a way to get the sim unlock, now the phone is 1.1.1 jailbroken (was 1.1.2).

Sombody can help me please ?? i get crazy

got a week 43 iphone (uk model) took me good part of an hour to do the damn thing but i got it all workin now as you can tell im sending this off my iphone

took me some courage doin this to an xmas present lol!!!!

so me got 1.1.2 on o2 payg everything now works u-tube etc..

respect to the guy who took the time to write this guide i love him!!!!

i am on the very final step..n i cant jailbreak 1.1.2 keeps sayin iphone not connected!!! n i hav connected it n jus doesnt do nefin!!!

Now I'm a happy owner of fully functional (apart from the phone part of cause; waiting for my 'stealth sim') purchased in US iPhone, from week 48, activated, jailbroken and
updated to 1.1.2
One thing though gave me a little bit of a headache: first time I had downgraded to 1.1.1 the phone simply refused to get jailbroken neither with help of iNdependence (the iTunes couldn't connect to iPhone to downgrade it further to 1.0.2) nor via WiFi connection (Safari couldn't find the server). I guess that the error must have been lying in the 1.1.1 firmware itself. I upgraded the iPhone to 1.1.2 again, downloaded new 1.1.1 firmware from another server than the previous one, downgraded the firmware to that newdownloaded 1.1.1 version and then jailbroken the phone via WiFi. The rest was easy.

I hope it will help some newbies like myself to activate their precious iPhones.

I have just one problem with the tutorial, everytime i boot safari to install appsnapp, it does load perfectly and all, i click on install appsnapp and await for safari to close, but it just hangs there adn doenst close at all, i have tried everything from step one several but comes up to the same thing, any help will be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Please search for a solution. ASking in a thread and seeming like a crazed lunatic will not help you out. This is an advanced community and I am 100% positive that any issue you are having has been discussed at length in a previous post. Let it in 99%, maby the "Crazed lunatic", has allready read the 18 pages in this one, an allmost other 30 in the FAQ´s. And let me Remember the title of the section: 1.1.2 OOB Downgrade/Activate/Jailbreak MADE EASY (For Newbies) .

But thanks anyway for you help, im shure i will find a solution.
