Please Help!

Could someone please help me I dont know what im doing wrong.

Im following all the directions on my pc everything goes through smoothly, as soon as I get to the very end when I install the appsnapp it attempts to dl a quarter of the way and kicks me back to the activation screen with the slide for emergency bar!

I downgraded from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 with no prob and went through every step as it says. Id appreciate any help before I throw this thing against the wall.

before you install appsnapp connect your iphone thru USB to your PC and open Itunes and make sure you are on the activation page and then on your iphone insatll appsnapp

I have a couple of small questions that may have big consequences when not done correctly.

1. Should I be running Itunes when I first run Ibrickr? ( cuz i read on one of the other threads ( http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15849 ) that i have to make sure im not running itunes when i first run INDependance?) I just wanted to check if it's the same thing with Ibrickr.

2. At the beginning of step 3 (where i have to dial *#307# and hit many buttons), should i be connected to my pc and running Itunes or should it be not connected to the pc?

Thank you raff now 1 last question I think im almost there.. why once i have downloaded installer app. updated and its now time to jail break once i open jailbreak.rar and click jail break it continues to tell me everytime "cannot connect etc.." when i know i have the latest version of 1.1.2 jailbreak.

I am buying an UK iPhone soon and ibviousely want to downgrading/Jailbreak it for use with O2 PAYG sim. I have been reading this guide for days and also as much info I could on it preparing myself for the task. I have dl all the necessary files, and with ibrickr file after unzipping it, I cannt see the file for "Reboot my iPhone"?? Do I need to actaully be doing the downgrading/Jailbreaking before I could see/run this file??
Just want to make sure that I am fully understand the process before attemting the hack, so thanks in advance for any help!

i rebooted the phone manually, but doesnt work.

ok finally got it working

so the appsnapp download can be tricky. do not hesitate to redo it dozens of times.
(about 15 tries for myself)

It works on 04.02.13_G .. same as mine.
I did all the steps and worked perfect not even a small problem.. running Win not Mac but I guess will be the same.

For those of you having connection issues with jailbreak.jar on windows. Update your java prior to running it. Also, do not run the jailbreak.jar if you are on windows. Use the windows.bat and be patient, it will open up the jailbreak.jar and work just fine. The key is to update your java.
