Default Would it be worthwhile (or possible) to use an old MacBook Logic Board for a Hack Pro

I've got a 2008 (4,1) macbook gathering dust. I've decided to take my first step into Hackintosh and I am wondering if I can re-use as many parts as possible. I'm not sure if this actually counts as Hackintosh though...

I will be wanting to upgrade, and I don't know how effectively I'd be able to do this either.

Maybe this isn't possible or just a waste of time, please let me know. I am determined to build a Hackintosh either way - I just really want to find a use for my old Macbook. I could only get ~$200 by selling it due to a dead battery and some cosmetic damage (all components work). I've also been drooling over the "High End Hack Pro" that LifeHacker has composed. If I were to substitute a 1TB Disk Drive for their recommended HD/SDs, I could easily afford to build it (and of course upgrade ASAP).

So, if you think my MacBook is unworthy, what are some good DIY recycling projects I might be able to use this for?

-I've seen the Mac Mini DIY, but if I'm going to go through the trouble of making new connections and everything else, I would want to be able to upgrade (rather than have a small box)

-I've also seen the Macbook-to-Tablet (or touchscreen) projects. In fact, any search for DIY MacBook projects seems to bring links that are almost only this project.
