im just got this awesome Hacintosh from my friend who moved away. i really love it, but have close to no knowledge of how it works. and like an idiot, i click yes to the update. it installed and when it restarted all it does is load up, then stops at the white screen with apple sign and spinner.

any and all help would be greatly and truly appreciated

1st of all u must avoid update direct from APPLE cos u r not using Mackintosh...u r on Hackintosh
2nd on boot screen type -v -x to check where does it gets panic...

reply for the further assistance if possible capture and post the image.
