This is my first attempt at a Hackintosh so please be patient.

I had it on good authority that someone, somewhere in the world, was able to get this particular laptop up and running. My experience is proving a little not so.

I'm following the Unibeast method, but I've also tried myHack.

Once I get to the Chameleon screen I select USB, the screen goes black then the system restarts. I tried applying '-v' to the execution but the screens output is too fast to make any notes. It reads all the components from the USB stick then the computer restarts. I tried running it with '-x' and managed to get into the Installation screen - this is where I cocked up the first time. Since then it's been temperamental, at one point I had the apple logo but the system hung, other cases I've had the black screen - where there is clearly a signal as opposed to the computer shutting down. The rest of the time the system just restarts.

I've tried formating the harddrive, repartitioned the drive and so forth, tried a different USB stick, tried the various commands such as 'GraphicsEnabler=No' and sadly no joy. Is this a case of perseverance or am I doing something wrong?

(?)I have a suspicion that my problems lie with the motherboard(?)
