Which version of OSX will work with this??

Hi all,

Having successfully installed Leopard onto a Dell GX520 I foolishly mentioned to a friend of mine such a thing was possible... he now wants his doing, and the version of Leopard I have won't install.

So I turn to the collective knowledge on here for a pointer, his system is...

ACER ASPIRE AX3812
Celeron Dual Core 2.5Ghz
3GB RAM
Video: Intel(R) G45/G43 Express Chipset
Ethernet: Inter(R) 82567V-2 Gigabit Network Connection

does anyone know of a version that will install on such a machine, or even better do you have a link to a torrent I could try.

I would think that you have to install Iatkos l2 , then update to 7.3 , then mountain lion 1.8. do not update directly from Apple store. Download updates or from other source then install from DMG.
of course if the dvd doesn't boot it want install. don't use any flags at install.Intel duo core 2 only.
