Questions about building a xeon hackintosh
I am thinking of building a hackintosh, but I still have a few (newb) questions.
The computer is especially meant for use with logic pro (audio).
-Will all my external hardware, like mixers, compressors etc coming with their own individual drivers work on a hackintosh?
-Does it matter which internal hdd I use? And what 2TB drive do you recommend? (I thought it wouldn't really matter because it is just for storage, won't create compatibility issues with hackintosh?)
-Does it matter which processor fan I use? (A fan is a fan and they will all work?)
-Does it matter which optical drive I use?
-Do these components all work with eachother?
Intel Xeon E5 2640
32GB Corsair 1600Mhz DDR3
GeForce GTX 560 Ti
-Power management won't work( as it says on tonymacx86.blog), is this really a big issue? (as it won't be a power saving machine anyway)
Newbie questions, but i'm a first-timer.
Thanks a lot for any feedback. I appreciate it.
