Installation freezes when extracting base file - iAtkos ml2
I've been having some issues when trying to install iAtkos ml2 on my HP Probook 4520s.
When I boot from the DVD-DL i created everything works fine. I go in to the disk utility and format the drive. I select my custom drivers and features and then I start the installation. I open the log and check it to see that everything is working properly, here's where the problem start.
I get some regular installation messages, but after about 20 seconds when it gets to extracting 10.8.2.base.pkg, it freezes. The mouse freezes and nothing happens. The DVD-drive spins down and the harddrive shows no activity what so ever. The only way of exit is to do a hardreset on the laptop.
Does anybody have any clue of what is going on? I have burnt the dmg file twice, and I've also checked the md5 and it is correct. I've tried all possible boot-flags without success.
Here's a screenshot:
You're getting alot further than I do, mine just freezes at the Apple screen....I have the 4530s
