Help! with Rampage IV Extreme - Apple Logo Freezes
Hi guys
sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place. I'm trying to install OS X Mountain Lion
my specs are
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
intel i7 3930k (No overclock)
Asus GeForce GTX 580
Asus Xonar D2 soundcard
i have a bootable USB with mountain lion and when select lion from the boot menu, I just get a white screen with the apple logo, and that's where it stays.
i have run the flag - DSDT=null npci=0x2000 -v (which a friend suggested)
I got a few
kexk com.apple.driver.AppleHDAController failed to load
then right at the bottom I get "Still waiting for root device"
Also tried using the "PCIRootUID=0" Flag aswell...
Sorry if this is a noob error, hope you guys can help
Thanks
Hay

I created a Bootable USB using Unibeast - I hope this is what you meant...
The first boot flag you meantion I have already tried, as I read it from another thread... someone else had similar problems... I will try the other boot flags and report back
Other flags I have tried are:-
-f -v cpus=1 USBBusFix=Yes npci=0x2000
-f -v PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes
-f -v PCIRootUID=0 npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes USBBusFix=Yes
I get a white/grey screen with Apple Logo... sometimes with a spinning bit.... and after a while get a circle with a strike thru it - Over the apple logo.
