Default First timer- Hackintosh ML 10.8 on Asus p5gc-mx socket 775 e5200 Help!

    Hi all,

I'm new to OSX and want to build a hackintosh to get my mac osx education rolling. I'm pretty sure after some research my hardware will work, but I need help. I don't have any real macs readily available, but I'm sure I could get access to one if need be. I have the fore-mentioned mobo and proc booting to a 500gb hd with win 7. I want to install Mountial Lion. I don't care about wiping out windows os.

I have a USB 8gb thumb drive with a copy of ML on it. I also have a dvd with ML on it and a dvd with iBoot + Multibeast. (start over and get ML installed on the usb with Unibeast?)

In the meantime I'm researching info on the forums, youtube, and from where ever else I stumble upon. Could anyone please help me with some direction/tips?

    Thanks!

    Short answer: need be.
You really need a Mac to use Unibeast to build the boot stick. If because of some luck you do everything right in one go, you will not need the other Mac again. But don't count on it.
Sure, there are other ways to make that boot stick, but it would be close to writing actual 1's and 0's yourself.
