Hello hackint0sh community.

I'm trying to play Everquest for Mac (EQMac), but after I click "play", the screen momentarily turns black (normal), but then closes, changes to a lower resolution, and gives me an error that says, "error creating D3D device," and then nothing.

Any ideas? I'm thinking by replacing the GPU with an nVidia card I may solve the problem. Unfortunately, the PSU is only 255watts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dell Optiplex 780
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.69Ghz
8GB RAM DD3
Radeon HD 6450 1GB

Update: I forgot to mention the second error message I'm receiving:

"IDirect3D_Mac::CreateDevice:
IDirect3DDevice8_Mac::Create() returned 0"
