I've been doing some reading on doing a hackintosh install. I am currently running an i7 920 6GB (Deluxe v2 iirc - but can verify if the information is key) with an nVidia GTX290.

I have read some discussions that say remove a stick to have RAM at 4GB.

Then comes the more difficult part. I currently run Debian Linux, Arch Linux and Windows 7. All these reside on a single drive (the same drive I would like to install the hackintosh onto). Is it even worthwhile considering hackintosh.

i ask because some of the literature i have read strongly recommends unplugging other OS drives while installing (which seems to me assumes that you are not installing on the same drive).

is it a pipe dream wishing to run all these distros independently?
