Post Strange music, Voice Assistant, and stuck on "Spinning wheel" Niresh 10.7.3

    Hey guys,
I installed Niresh's Lion 10.7.3. Installation went completely problem free except, when I tried booting into the OS, it's hangs on the grey Apple screen with the "Spinning wheel". So I figured it just taking a while so I left it be to see if anything would happen. 30-40 minutes later and completely out of the blue, this strange music starts playing so after wondering what the hell it was, I continued to leave it, ten minutes later, a sort of Bangra-like music starts playing, about ten minutes after that stopped, the Voice Assistant starts speaking through the tutorial that's on the Welcome screen, I press the right arrow key and it goes through the various help pages of the VA and if I press esc then it stops the Voice Assistant help. It's almost as if the welcome screen is there and fully functional, but the grey Apple screen is stuck on screen. I've attached links to my three video's of the problem. All in order of the issues. (Sorry about the insane zoom level, that would be the iPad haha and in the second video, ignore the clicking, that's me typing on my phone). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Computer specs:
    Laptop model: Acer Aspire 5742Z
    RAM: 6GB's DDR3
Processor: Intel Dual Core Pentium P6100
    GPU: Intel HD Graphics

Any other details needed, just ask.

    Thanks in advance.

Is it possible that the welcome stuff is on a none existing second screen? Can you attach a screen to your dvi/vga port and check if its there?

Thanks for the reply. I hooked it up via VGA to my TV but still nothing showed up. Although the Voice Assistant part started talking after only about ten minutes of booting up but still got the Grey Apple screen

Ok, here's something new, after the Voice Assistant does it's little speech, telling me how to use it; I can use the up/down arrow keys to go through the country list, although after it's spoken the name of each country it says either "Blank" or "black" but any country I select, I can't go further after hitting Enter or other arrow keys. I can use the laptop's Fn key and function keys to change the volume, mute, display off.

Ok, so finally got it working. I believe it was incorrect graphics I was installing. It's an almost fully functional laptop now, only things that don't work are: Ethernet, iCloud, USB's a little temperamental as is the DVD drive and I can only get a screen resolution of 1024x768.

Here's a list of all the customize selections that I used to make this work for me. NOTE: This is a config for my own system, it may or may not work for any different models.

    Boot loader:
    - Chimera

    Audio:
    - Voodoo HDA 2.56

    Graphics:
    -Intel HD 3000
    - Uncheck "Graphics Enabler"
    - Check "Remove Graphics Kexts"

    Network:
    - WiFi - Atheros-AR9287

    Laptop:
    - iSightCam
    - Voodoo Battery
    - Voodoo Power Mini

    Extra:
    - SMBIOS
    - MacPro 3,x SMBIOS
    - Boot Kexts (Chipset Drivers)
    - Fixed Kexts (Chipset Drivers)
-Uncheck all FakeSMC plugins, only leaving FakeSMC checked (Plugins caused kernel panics for me)
    -Shutdown and Restart Fix
    -PS2

    Chameleon Boot Commands:
    - Wake Up Fix For Lion (Dark Wake)
    - UseKernelCache
    - Ethernet Built In
    - USBBusFix
    - PCI Configuration Fix (ncpi=0x3000)

    Additional Applications:
    - Add whichever you want in this section
