Hi,

I got a hackintosh setup with a Gigabyte x58a-ud3r and a core i7 930.
Everything works etc. except for One thing and thats PS3 Media Server..
It won't simply play any videos. It shows up on my PS3 just like it should and I can browse and everything but when I start a video the screen goes black for about 30sec, then the loading icon shows up and spinns for about 1 minute if not more, after that it shows video for about 1.5 seconds and then it hangs, if I keep it like that for a couple of minutes it will show 1.5sec more of the video and then hang again..

I've been trying to find whats causing this but can't find anything. At first I thought it was the drivers for the networkscard but I tried switching to another drivers and still the same issue. I've tried all sorts of versions for the PMS and still the same problem.

I've even tried to use the config form my Macbook Pro and it doesn't work. So basically I've tried almost everything with no luck..

Has anyone else had the same problem?

A while ago I ran Snow Leopard on the same computer and it worked fine. I then switched to Linux and it worked fine there too. Then I decided to install Lion when it came out and now it's not working.. The only thing I changed was the graphics card, I now use a AMD Radeon HD 6890, the drivers works well and I play a lot of games so I doubt it could be something with that!?

Can anyone give me Some information on why it doesn't work as it should?
Should I reinstall my whole setup and hope for the best?
