loginwindow - systemUIserver high memory use?
Hello, i have hackintosh on a gigabyte x48-dq6 - 8gb ram, checking activity monitor i see that these two processes are using nearly 4gb ram between them, is this right?
Some searching has indicated that on full mac these should be using a few hundred mb not gb of memory use!
Is this a hackintosh issue or just something amiss with my install?
cheers

Here is an odd thing, if reboot no apps restarted and check activity monitor i can see the these services using increasing amounts of ram, systemUIserver using 25mb + and increasing as is loginwindow.
Now if i kill systemUIserver loginwindow stops increasing amount of ram used, systemUIserver restarts and is 19.8mb ram and not increasing?
something odd going on here ??
cheers

ended up doing a fresh unibeast install with 10.7.2 image, that seems to have done the trick, i fact whole system works better with appstore login now working, and icloud after quick serial change and revert.
