Installing Darwin (standalone) with Gnome
Hi all,
I'm new here, so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section, but here goes. So I want to use Darwin BSD/UNIX on a new desktop, so I can use it like a Linux machine. I don't want all the mac features or OSX, I just want to install Darwin, using Gnome as the desktop environment. Is this possible? I've been Googling around, but can't really find any how to's.
Any ideas?

You are a few years late lol. There once was OpenDarwin, as I say, there was. It is no longer continued. you could try to build your own, but it is a incredible waste task. Also Macapps will require the Frameworks supplied for X, so you will end up with a tinker OS with no software.
