Help making a hackintosh
Hey, guys! I need your help making my boring ol' PC into a Hackintosh. I know nothing about it, but I have OSX Lion (the .dmg from the Mac Store) on my PC. I also have an 8gb thumb drive that I would prefer not to format and plenty of DVDs. My computer is an AMD/ATI system with two hard drives - the 1TB one running Win7, and the 80GB one running Ubuntu and Windows 8 - the second one I plan to format and make into an OSX Lion drive. Would someone be so kind as to help me?

Bad news: While you can install Mac OS X Snow Leopard on an AMD system, Mac OS X Lion doesn't work with AMD. To run Mac OS X, computers with AMD processors need to use a modified kernel (usually the "legacy kernel"). However, there's no legacy kernel for Lion.
