Hey all, so I've been doing a lot of experimentation lately with installing OS X on several devices.. Gotten pretty good results too. Got a Dell Inspiron 1525 running Snow Leopard flawlessly. An HP Mini 110 doing the same minus wifi and ethernet. And now I want to try it on my main laptop.

My laptop is a dv4-1530ca running a Core 2 Duo T6600, with 4GB DDR3 RAM. It has an Intel Wifi Link 1000 BGN for wireless and a Realtek RTL8102E Ethernet port.

Full specs can be seen here in case I missed anything: HP Pavilion DV4-1530CA Intel T6600 4GB 500GB 14IN Windows 7 Premium X64 Notebook 6CELL

I've tried doing it myself with a vanilla copy of OS X Lion and Nawcom ModUSB with no luck. I tried a few other things as well to get a bootable USB key, but the system does not recognize it. Same thing with iBoot CD, a manual install of Chamleon, and Chimera.

Is this computer hackintoshable? And if so, what method or software should I use to attempt it? It reeeally doesn't seem to like any of the standard bootloaders.

Sadly this method was utterly ineffective. The USB key I created using your method actually causes my laptop to freeze on the bios POST screen as long as it is plugged into the system.

And as a side note, you're video is a bit on the over explained side. The long pauses for explanations is a little unnecessary.

But thanks anyway! Any other ideas out there?

As a side note, I tried plugging this USB key into a few other computers around the shop (I work at a tech shop) too. Only one of them actually started to boot Mac OS X, and it kernel panicked while loading the OS. Doesn't look like your method works very well.

maiby the pc your using for test it its no-good for hackintosh, my method works for a lot of pc and laptop cheek here a guys realise a tutorial whit my method
and trust me its not the only one I am helping a lot of guys and I AM little bit desapoint to talk about that

hackintosh its not easy some times you boot at the fist time and some times you need boot flag for start the machine
