Create A Bootable Mac OS X Lion DVD For Your Hackintosh

- First of all you will need the mac os x lion.dmg,no problemo,you can download from here:

- A Blank DVD 4,7GB

- A Previous OS X Installation: Mac OS X 10.6.6 or Mac OS X 10.6.8 [ Highly Recommended ]

1. Download Mac OS X 10.7 and mount the installESD.dmg [ InstallESD.dmg in Lion is inside "Install Mac OS X Lion.app/Contents/SharedSupport".]

2. Create an empty DMG with the Disk Utility [ Open Disk Utility,Go Up and select New Image,and make the settings like this]

3.Enable view hidden files.

4. Locate the BaseSystem.dmg and restore.

[ Mac OS X Lion>Show Package Contents>Shared Support>InstallESD.dmg,mount Install ESD.dmg and inside is BaseSystem.dmg ]

5.After BaseSystem to restore the partition, we will copy the files: boot.efi, kernelcache, mach_kernel.

6. Now, will delete the shortcut Packages.

[ Packages is in,Mac OS X Base System>System>Installation ]

7. Then copy the folder Packages.

8. Disable view hidden files.

9.Replace the original OSInstall.mpkg from Mac OS X Base System>System>Installation>Packages with this patched :

10.Copy the patched cdboot file to usr/standalone/i386 on the DVD image

11.Copy the patched Extra folder on the DVD

12.- Build the bootable ISO

Open terminal and type:

sudo hdiutil makehybrid -o "Desktop/Mac OS X 10.7 Install DVD.iso" "/Volumes/Mac OS X Base System 1/" -iso -hfs -joliet -eltorito-boot "/Volumes/Mac OS X Base System 1/usr/standalone/i386/cdboot" -no-emul-boot -hfs-volume-name "Mac OS X Install DVD" -joliet-volume-name "Mac OS X Install DVD"

13.Enjoy,now you have your own OS X Lion Hackintosh Bootable DVD
