Cannot Boot Single User Mode! Help Please! :(
So I recently installed ProTools onto my Hackintosh (which I've been using for about 2-3 weeks now) without realizing that PT8 isn't supported by Lion. I'm guessing that I need to remove the digidesign kext through Single User Mode but I haven't been able to load Single User Mode with any methods. I've tried simply selecting the preset option in the Chimera screen, and also typing in "-s" and "DSDT=sodOff -s" as demonstrated in this video done by one of tonymac's moderators (Hackintosh - Basic Intro to Bootloader flags and repair - YouTube) (at 7:00) but still no success. Every time I try, it seems to just load the verbose mode. I've been looking on several different forums just about all day but it seems as there hasn't been much support for such a problem. If I could get any assistance with loading Single User Mode, it'd be greatly appreciated!
Hackintosh Specs:
OS: Lion
CPU: i5 2500k Intel Quad Core 3.41 Ghz
MB: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
RAM: 8GB (Corsair)
Graphic: Gigabyte Radeon 6670
Optic: Sony Optiarc
