Default YouTube's H264 iPhone version just a regular Web site with URL?

Is this probable? Something like http://apple.com/trailers/iphone (only accessible with the iPhone).

At least we could access YouTube via Safari then.

The iPhone doesn't support .3gp files, only H264.

Maybe we need to build our own H264 YouTube.

You're wrong about that! I have transfered tons of .3gp movies on my iPhone and they all work fine :p

I dont think even if you access the h.264 encoded video url they will work, i believe http://youtube.com/watch?v=GHVbxsbECCM to be a h.264 format and when i visit that page through safari it automaticly opens the youtube app on the phone and trys to connect as if you go straight to it through the menu and states that it cannot connect?

Google videos work if you click the download link for ipod/psp.
