I have a 1.0.2 upgraded to 1.1.1 (activated and jailbroken by iNdependence 1.2.5, unlocked by anySim). Downloaded Cyberduck. Installed SFTP on iPhone using Cyberduck. Established a SFTP-Connection, username: root, password: alpine. Exchanged the files in /var/root/Library/Lockdown (data_ark.plist, device_private_key.pem, device_public_key.pem) for these ones:

Set permissions to 744

And my Youtube is not working. I'm outside the US and always get "error playing movie" msg in youtube. I had no problem loading the list of videos in YouTube but only cannot play any of them. I suspect it's because that I'm not in the US. Because when in the US(2 weeks ago) when I was with 1.0.2, youtube was working just fine.

Does anybody have a clue about this?

There are a lot of people outside the US using YouTube ( light ) on the iPhone with 1.1.1. including me.
There must be a mistake in your process :-(

i dont think you have to set permission......dunno if that mite help ya

I do know that Youtube was updating video formats for the iPod Touch - Maybe give it a day or two - It may work itself out

If u have the time and patience then try to restore and do it again via CARNAVAL this way u don't have to upload nething, the program does all the stuff for you I know it's easier because I used it works great for me good luck neway
