Youtube help after iTunes 7.4
Hi, I just received my iPhone today and immediately hacked it with iNdependence on my mac. I also installed SSH and now trying to access the locked folder with cyberduck. However, the apptapp that works for 7.4 doesn't have OpenSSH to install. It only has the BSD thing.
How will I go around fixing youtube (getting access to the locked folder to replace the three files)?
I appreciate all help.

well...I got OpenSSH and I replaced all the files from a ********** file someone posted in another thread. can someone post these three files again because youtube still can't connect. I think the files I downloaded from the other thread don't work.
to allbusup, open installer.app from the iphone and install community...something. then from there install OpenSSH. for more info, search for the thread "youtube activator."

I wish someone could develop a one click application to make youtube work on mac like they did on windows

all this hacking scene is really complicating too.

I followed this instructions (from another thread on this forum). The instructions are for phones with firmware 1.0.2.
1. Copy the whole Lockdown directory from /private/var/root/Library/Lockdown onto your Mac. You can use Transmit SFTP for this.
2. Copy the deleonju files (the ones that are linked above in this thread) into the Lockdown folder on your Mac
3. Open the new data_ark.plist file, and copy the entire <data> tag just after <key>-DeviceCertificate</key> onto the clipboard
4. Open EACH .plist file in the pair_records folder, and paste over the device certificate data tag
5. Open the .plist file in the activation_records folder, and paste the <data> tag over the (probably empty) <data> tag after <key>-DeviceCertificate</key> - note that this device certificate key is further down the file than in the pair_record .plist files
6. Copy the new Lockdown folder contents into /private/var/root/Library/Lockdown
7. Reboot the iPhone and enjoy!

Reason: I almost forgot: make sure you are jailbreaked before attempting.
