Wrong time, not ringing, no wifi
All this has started lately. First were the wifi problems, started with the 2.1, and worsened with 2.2. Sometime recently, my phone's time has started lagging behind anywhere between 10-45 minutes. Since upgrading to 2.2.1, now my phone does not ring when asleep.
So my first thoughts have been that it must be a corrupted baseband. Yesterday, I went though the process of downgrading to 1.1.4 and then upgrading back to 2.2.1. Quickpwned and everything (except wifi) was good--but only for a few hours. Everything is now back.
Anybody experiencing similar issues? Any thoughts on what might be wrong or, how to fix it? Thanks a bunch.
Cheers,
Brett

So it looks like the following directions swiped from another thread at least brought back calls ringing when asleep. Note, since my wifi is dead, I used iphonebrowser via USB rather than WIFI/WinSCP...
don't know if posted yet but i found sollution on the net on macrumors for problem not ringing when phone is locked.
"
1. OpenSSH/WinSCP into Iphone then go to:
\System\Library\SystemConfiguration\PowerManagemen t.bundle
2. Find the file:
com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist
Then rename it to:
com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist2
3. Reboot your phone
I tried and can confirm this is working sollution
"
I also found wifi half worked, until I locked the phone again...meaning, it could at least see networks (but not connect).
Let's hope this solution holds.
Still though, my battery life is shit and I have no wifi. Anyone have any luck changing their comm's board? Wnjunkie? Did that come in yet?
EDIT 1: So renaming that file simply causes your phone to never actually sleep, hence the shit battery life. I uploaded a plist that someone posted from a supposedly healthy phone, I'll see how that goes...
