Hi all.

I have my 1.1.1 phone running with Vodafone Germany, installed iDeutsch to have german language, the ringtone hack and whatever I need to work with. I'm very satisfied with it.

Does it make sense to upgrade? I've read that a performance increase has come with 1.1.2.? Is this right? Can you feel it? 10% ? 50% ?

Anything else coming with 1.1.2?

Never change running system - for minor release update?

Hmm i am also wondering this as well cause I finally have my 1.1.1 setup the way I like it >.<

There is absolutely no reason to upgrade to 1.1.2 There are very minor upgrades and its not worth it. Im also on 1.1.1 and ill stay with it until apple comes out with a major upgrade.

Updates are, a couple security updates and language updates.

I'm now on 1.1.2 FW and, let me tell you, it was a real pain to get there, almost 2 days of nightmares.
The only big feature (to me anyway) is that now I can get non numeric SMS from my carrier about new messages in my mailbox.
So, if you can wait for a more friendly app., great

it does have a speed blip (413/103 as opposed to 400/100)

international keyboards are nice in Canada for the accents.

Dont know what the 2nd speed thing means but sounds good lol

In my case, I found the update not so minor because of the SMS bugs. I'm now finally receiving notifications from my office. With 1.1.1, notifications only came sometime and when they reached the iphone were completely garbled. French support is also much better as it was included. I just miss a swiss french keyboard (have to use german keyboard and replace dictionnaries with the french ones).
