Managed to make it working on Etisalat Network

I think it would be more informative for people here on the forums if you mention what method did you use, OS, prices..etc.

Agreed, how did you achieve this?

I also have the following questions:

1) When you are having a text conversation with people to they get stored in a thread? Or are they all separate?
2) Does Google maps do anything?
3) Do the Youtube videos work?
4) Do you know if Etisalate has an Edge network? I'm currently using 3G on a Sony Ericsson M600i

i bought the phone and the Turbo sim from the U.S, followed the turbo sim method..

Google maps uses the EDGE and EDGE is not activated yet, still working on it

youtube not yet...

I live in AUH and just wanted to know all the guys living in the UAE and their success rate with the unlocks. I have already ordered mine and I'm trying out the free simlock method. Seems to be pretty straightforward. Just hope update 1.0.3 doesn't come out soon.

I have been seeing too many posts about bluetooth problems (phone cannot detect any bluetooth devices).

Any other things we need to aware about in the UAE? All calls in/out working?
