The word "cancer" appearing instead of the date

Hi All,

I have strange little problem. Today I noticed that the word "Cancer" was written instead of the the date "Tuesday, October 2" on the locked screen just under the time. Anyone seen this before?

I have since powered the phone off and back on and it has reverted to the correct date. I just find it a little odd and would like to know how and why it did this.

I'm not sure what my phone is trying to tell me!

You Ipod probably is on, and the music name is cancer.

hahahaha. Thats hilairious. I did not realize it did that so I just tried and sure enough the song name is at the top after I unlock it.

Nope, ipod wasn't on. You'll notice that the ipod play icon is not displayed up the top.
Am gonna check if I have any songs called cancer tho! Maybe it just got stuck.

And there is no album art. That's my wallpaper.

I'm quite sure its a message from hell... This will start an email chain "if you don't send this to a thousand ppl in 5 seconds your iPhone will diagnose you cancer and you'll die. Its true!" LOL

Ok, so I do have a song called "Cancer" but as I mentioned the ipod was not on at the time otherwise the album art would have been showing and I would have known that the ipod was playing instead of thinking that my iphone was telling me crazy things.

Oh well.. I guess I'll put it down to a glitch in the system until I can reproduce it. Thanks ecaramaschi. Anyone seen their music title stuck like this before?

I think that it means u have cancer!!! And the time above the word cancer is how long you have to live....

I've had a song title get stuck on that screen a couple of times for no discernable reason. It generally goes away when I start playing something else, or reset the iPhone.

Completely non-reproducible, however, so I can't really say much more about it, but it did get me a funny look one time when I handed the iPhone to somebody to look at it and there was a strange song title at the top....
