WinSCP : Network error - Network is unreachanble
Hello,
I just installed WinSCP and OpenSSH on my ipHone (with this tutorial: http://www.hacktheiphone.com/74/ipho...ndows_74.html), then started WinSCP and tried to get a connection to my iphone, but all I get ist "Network error - Connection timed out" ? I filled everything in with "user/dottie", my network IP and chose and chose "SCP". Could someone help me with that?
Thanks!

The iPhone's ip stack is curious and is battery drain conscious. This could be the problem. Ping your iPhone's IP address for a bit before you try to connect to it via WinSCP. It will takes a couple of minutes to respond. Ensure that you do things on your iPhone that cause it to communicate with remote hosts.
WinSCP to your iPhone when and if your phone starts responding. I'm nearly sure this is your problem. Don't forget to stop the pings, because an iPhone runs out of battery after 3 hours if you ping it constantly without being connected to a power source.
