Will you pay to get Unlock Iphone?
Hi Everyone,
I am just thinking how many ppl will pay to get Unlock Iphone.
I believed now they are many websites claiming that We can unlock your iphone soon....etc... Do you think those are free for you, think again.
I strongly believe in WIKI IPHONE DEV Team only. Because those things till now really works. And the efforts they put in "PRICELESS"
Would you pay WIKI Iphone DEV Team for a unlock Iphone?
Thanks

There is no need to discuss this, we stated we will release any information for free and for anyone, regardless they are forum user, irc user, donator or just a fly-by visitor.
Our research information is FREE and won't be payware of any kind.
Don't get yourself fooled by pay-per-fool websites like there are many out there atm.
Enjoy the freedom!

I think everyone who uses this wiki info for unlocking the sim should donate 20 USD to the guys who did it and 30 USD to a good charity.
Fair ?

I would pay more too... but at now... no solutions.
Just for reference i can underline that both iphoneunlocking.com and gsmfactory.com don't work: the first never answered, the second has billed me 29 euros and then they have reimboursed me since they say "iPhone is not locked by Cingular but by AT&T".
I know someone already said but I don't know if someone already paid... so I wanted to contribute.
BYE ALL!

I would gladly make a donation to the development team when it happens...these guys are busting their asses for us. I appaude them for their hard work. Now we just need the idiots that want everything now to shut their pie holes and be patient.....

Beware of the scam sites all over the palce. Currently its a real pain how much scam is goign to iPhone this includes:
- so called "unlock" tools/trojans/ripoffs
- just collecting emails for spam with iphoen unlocking promises
- redistribution of our free work as payware
- fake offers on eBay
...
the list is endless :/ For this forum, we try to figth the "tools" stuff as much as we can and inform people on it but they pop up everywhere atm
Don't be afraid. It's worked hard on a solution to unlock your phone proper. The delay in the reportage is casued cause the "easy" part is over, currently it requires a lot of analysis and testing, but I am good faith that a solution will be found.
As soon we have anything working, it will be published asap, stay tuned.
This requires no payware, no ads and not getting you fooled by scam.

This is a no brainer, I'm sure everyone would pay for a guaranteed unlock.
The trouble is most people have a set fee in their minds based on previous (traditional) offerings, rather than looking at the circumstances based around the iphone model.
What ever route you go, you going to have paid either $499 or $599 to Apple.
Take the following scenarios:
1. You then are tied into a 2 year contract with ATT that on the minimum plan would equate to $1,439.76 over the term ($59.99 per month x 24).
2. You pay ATT the $170 disconnect fee plus presumably a minimum of 1 month on ATT would be levied (to join and then leave) which again using the minimum plan would be $59.99. Thats $229.99.
Now I know your paying for service usage within scenario 1 so in my opinion, you've got to find some middle ground between the $1,429.76 it would cost you for the luxury of using an iPhone versus being free to choose what you could pay elsewhere. I know I certainly don't may anything near that per month for my phone usage, so a more extravagant unlock fee could easily be justified there.
With scenario 2, in my opinion at least half of $229.99 would be reasonable.
Although, whilst I double checked my figures, I did notice a rather nasty "other monthly charges" started to stack those figures up even more but I couldn't be arsed to include them!! (Jees its never ending to be a first generation US iPhone users is it :-)

Well i already donated some money to the cause so it would be nice to get the hack for free and charge other people. But i hope they give it away like they do for Apple TV.
