This far ive been using my iPhone to store important appointments and dates in the calender. I just came by a source saying that its fully possible to sync my iphones calender with Google Calender.

I added my gmail account. My iPhone asked me whether i wanted to sync my calender as well. When i selected that option my iphone asked me whether i wanted to erase my current calendar saved on my iPhone or "save" the current calender on the iPhone"

I didnt understand that. Of course i dont want all my appointments deleted or anything. Best thing would be if i could transfer everything to my google calender from my iPhone.

Help anyone?

In this type of situation, if you are unsure - always click the "save the current calendar" type option.

Are you referring to the google / activesync option for mail, calendar and contacts sync to your iPhone?
