    I'm having the same problem with 3 phones after the unlocking on 1.1.4.
    on some wifi's they connect, on some, they don't...
    all on 1.1.2 BB's and 1.1.4 Firmware

    the 4 numbers under wi-fi and the name of the network are filled in.
    Tried about all the things i could think about and found on google;

    Reset router, reset network setting - all iphone settings.
    Airplane mode on and off, force restart iphone
    change the DNS server to OpenDNS

    Default Fixed the problem

    After about 1 day of having the issue where the wifi seems to connec without any problems, I noticed that the DNS was set to a different range of IP numbers, i changed it to the regular router IP (For those who doesn't know it.. 192.168.1.1) manually and after that the iphone connected without problems to the network, including installer.
    Hope this is helpfull to some1..

    Steps:

    1: select the network, make sure it connects.
    2: select the blue arrow on the network to enter the settings.
    3: Search for DNS, there should be a range of IP numbers.
    4: Set Router and DNS to 192.168.1.1
    Done.. good luck..

    192.168.1.1 is NOT a universal router IP address. It will be different for everyone not using the same router.
    Rocking a 4GB unlocked iphone on T-mobile with firmware 2.1.
