Ok so last night I had left my phone hooked up to the computer to charge and when I woke up I had about a thousand of these little windows asking how I would like to open my iphone...So I finally cleanered all of them and I pluged it in to see what it was doing...I plugged it and and it poped up one of them windows and I just "Xed" it out and about 3 minutes later I heard my phone chime (like how it sounds when you first put it on the charger or hook it to your computer...I just got this new (replacement phone) yesterday and the one I had before this one didn't do this...Just seeling if anybody else out there is having the same problem...

its either the usb port of your comp, the docking port of the iphone, or the cable that is faulty.
try using the wall charger to charge your phone and observe if the same behavior occurs,
as for the wire, try using the second wire that came with your iphone
remember, only use peripherals that came with your iphone
