Hmm, something strange happened here...

Today I started looking into the jailbreak thing. I have successfully uploaded a custom ringtone and I have disabled word-completion on the keyboard.

I'm at not home, so I connect through wi-fi using the internet sharing on my macbook. The aiport card then acts as a wireless access point.

The phone connects to the airport and I can surf Safari and read mail. But I cannot fet google maps to connect to the internet. The weather application does not update either...

What could have caused this?

On a sidenote, the howto I followed did replace the services.plist file at the end. I did so too. Is that necessary? What does it do? Could that file have anything to do with google maps and weather not being able to connect through wi-fi anymore?

I will have to try it again, using my accesspoint at home. Both maps and weather have worked fine up until today.

Edit: Stocks doesn't work either. It seems that only Safari and Mail are able to get online now...

Edit: It must have bee the airportcard on my MacBook. I'm at home now, and here everyting works fine.
