Default unable to get wi-fi from Airport Base Station to iPhone

after much testing I have found that my Airport Extreme Base Station is not broadcasting my wireless network to my iPhone.
it is broadcasting it to my Mac and my Macbook Pro, but when I search for networks via my iPhone is finds nothing.

I tested this be internet sharing, I had ethernet from my Base station to my Mac Pro and shared my internet from ethernet to Airport and my iPhone picked up network "Rick's Mac Pro" instantly.

anyone know what's going on and how I can get onto my network with my iPhone?

    thanks

    Tried it, didn't work.

I acivated via the anderson method as I'm outside the US, everything else works I don't understand.

it simply doesn't show any networks in the settings and when I go to other and add it manualy it says it can't find it.

I've restored and rebooted everything and I'm getting no where, it's really driving me nuts.

Did you try to change your wireless network settings to "discoverable"? This way you don't need to manually enter it.

    That's the thing...it is!
my Mac's pick it up fine, the SSID isn't hidden so it should pick up but it doesn't

    Hi

I had the same problem, and followed all the different scenarios, that are suggested on other threads etc..
I eventually solved it with the simplest of checks.
There is an option in settings to have caps lock on or off.
But whenever you type a letter whether caps lock is on or off, it shows up as a capital letter.
I set caps lock to off.
Then retyped in my router password and hey presto it worked.
This may or may not work for you, but could be worth a try.
