Is it just me, or has the wait for the 1.1.1 FW been long and agonizing? It's like, despite the fact that the only thing that's really being added is the iTunes WIFI MS, I just can't keep myself from obsessing over it. Even when I think about how it's going to make 3rd party apps break, I still just can't do it.

I really hope it's released today. Right now, it's only about 2PM over in Cupertino, so there's still a good chance.

Agreed. But I totally expect it to be out today, probably in a few hours. This new firmware got hyped almost as much as the iPhone itself .

I really, really hope you're right.

I mean, it would make a hell of a lot of sense for them to release it today, seeing as how they made all that ruckus yesterday with their statements about, well, us.

I was going to try and screw with some people by posting something like

"Guys, You might want to be clicking that check for updates button like right now, yeah, right now ."

But then I realized how pissed I would be if someone did that to me. Joking about the update being here is not funny. ;P

If I recall correctly, most (if not all) of the other FW updates were released around 6pm or 7pm or so local time for me - USA Central timezone. So that would be about 4pm or 5pm Cupertino time. Still could happen this evening...

Stop whining. God feels like a few weeks ago when every person started a new thread saying "Dev team where's the unlock" and flooding the forums. Just wait it out and stop posting new threads. Annoyed.

So thecompkid, what do you expect to do when your iTunes tells you that it's available? Start recharging the N95 at the same time as you press the install and then restore button once the install falls?

Have got my old telephone all charged and a baby pin sitting on the table next to me to eject the SIM and make the switch back over. I will upgrade immediately, not because I have to, but because I'm willing to sacrifice my iPhone for the common good. Personally, I don't think it's going to be as painful as many are making it out to be...but this is only speculation and only time will tell....

Hehe, I wish I had an N95. Wouldn't really use it, but it would be awesome to have . Here in the states, it's an expensive phone.

Anyway, my iPhone isn't unlocked, so i'm not really risking anything. All i've got is 3rd party apps, which shouldn't cause problems.

May be another 30 minutes or so

No, please don't release the firmware. The longer the better for other users.
