Default Why the 1st dispatch with imei 01130000.... is better than the others?

    hi...

i've notice that all the first dispatch of iPhone is in better condition than the one we bought nowadays....the chasing was very fit in, no space noticeable between the back case, metal frame, and the bottom speaker plastic (let's say that the 1st generation of iPhone was bettter crafted/assembled)

first of all what i notice is that the metal surrounding the screen is perfectly in place/aligned, the aluminium back case got no scratch or dimple....

i recently bought 3 pcs of iPhone with imei 01130100.... all had defect, some of them have defect on the aluminium back case (like someone already tried to opened it up before for repair), and the metal surrounding the touch screen is not perfectly in place, there is a space between the metal and the aluminium back case and it's noticeable, also the serial no and imei printings on the backcase were blur, sad to say i'm in other country so cannot claim warranty....

do they sold iPhone for $400 all refurbished?
or the factory that manufactured iPhone in China is not just one, maybe two or more companies who had the same contract on assembling iPhone ...

anyone had the same experience, please share here....

    thanks

My IMEI is 011245... and the phone is very nice quality. Or, at least it was. I kind of messed it up a bit taking it apart for hardware unlock back before the software unlocks were available. Oh well!

@iRevilo thats what i meant all the element of the chasing is misplaced a bit sometimes i got dents all 3 of them which i buy in September

china do produce shit things with low quality... but i thought Apple QC would not surpass that kind of product to consumers but damn that thing did happen to me, piss me off cause now i'm in another country and can not easily return them

┐First 8GB, U$600 iPhones, and 4GB, U$499 maybe? Perhaps that's the reason of the price reduction.

    Just a thought

Rumours indicate the Apple (or better: the manufacturer of the iPhone in China) increased production to be able to cope with high demand. I suppose that in this process, the quality was a little bit left behind. It also can't be excluded that Apple (or the manufacturer) outsources production temporarily to be able to cope with high demand, resulting in quality gaps. My first iPhone was rock solid, a marvel. I recently bought one which had a squeeky black cover and the silver cover surrounding the display was also sticking out around half a millimeter. I bought a batch of three iPhones recently, two were great and the one I mentioned not so. Different manufacturers I suppose or they really take back iPhones for repair, refurbish them and re-sell them in an original package, this can't be excluded but I doubt it.

do you mean that with the newer ones the shiny bit is not flush with the mat back part?
