Default How do I manually copy files that I need to save?

    I need help!
I have the first iPhone and I'm at 1.1.3
I'm ready to upgrade but iTunes won't back up my stuff because it's Cracked?
Well... I don't really care because my phone has been synced to my mac computer and i have all my contacts and pics.
So who cares if my phone doesn't back up. I have what I need EXCEPT!!!!! Some videos that I recorded with the app called "VideoRecorder" and I also need some voice notes that I recorded with an app called "VNotes"
Those are song parts (I'm a music producer) and I need those! How do I manually copy those to my computer to save them so that I can wipe my iPhone clean with the new Version?

Videos are in /var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Music/ in the subfolders. They have strange four-letter names and are in there with the music files (music = .mp3, video = .mp4).

The recordings from VideoRecorder are in /var/mobile/Media/iPhoneVideoRecorder. You can go in and get them with any of the tools that help you into your iPhone's file system: iPhoneBrowser, iPhoneList, DiskAid, OpenSSH combined with WinSCP, you name it (the forum is full of instructions).

Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.

Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
    * on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
    * on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

    I found it with winscp.
    it was under Private\Media\etc etc...
    or Media\Private\etc etc...
I forget right now. I'm at work.
If you don't get it, I'll re-post in a little bit when I get to my computer.
I saved the path in a notepad in my docs for future reference.
    So....
    I'll be back.
