Default where is the help on this forum?

This forum used to be the best around for help, but now its full of selfish people who sort their phones out and do not want to help the community as a whole. I have seen so many threads with 1 or 2 views just filter through when they have a valid need for help.

Less selfishness guys and more love Lets pass on what we have learned

I'm sorry but I really don't agree with this comment.

This forum has many many users with 100+ posts who are more than happy to help people.

Just look at the detailed guides on the site. People take a great amount of time writing, editing and maintaining their posts and even help people indiviually in their threads. Most of these guides have 100+ posts in them.

I must admit it does get frustrating some times to see the same basic questions asked over and over from newer members. I can understand people need information fast but just spending a bit of time searching would help decrease this.

I'm just saying there are a lot of people like yourself that are willing to help.

At the time of writing this there are over 700 viewing the forum - it's the best out there!

If anything, I think there's TOO MUCH help on this forum. Sometimes too much of something is bad. People get frustrated when they answer the same question several times, especially in the same thread.

I think anyone's best bet is with the sticky threads, but in the absence of that, it wouldn't kill anyone to read 100 pages of a thead. If you're time's too valuable to waste then pay someone to fix your phone for you, otherwise all the information is hidden somewhere.

This is the point i think , no clear guides or stickies or how-to, so us noobs are overwelmed by the sheer quantity of information and have no idea where to look.

I agree that people who learned something here owe it to the new people in search of information to help out. That being said, asking if anysim 1.1 will work with this phone, or if anysim 1.1 will work with that phone is just a waste of forum space and people's time. Users owe it to the community to try, just a little bit, to find the info that's already out there. As they say, give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and he eats for a lifetime.

Ummm... I know this might sound a bit jerkish, but wouldn't that button at the top labeled search be an obvious starting point? There are 100s of topics that are relavent to different people. Stickies tend to clutter things and turn into 100 page threads that result in the same question getting asked and answered 15 times.
