    Try /Applications

    iPhone 3G 16GB Black 3.1.3
    MacBook Pro 10.6.3

    Default Look under /private/var/stash

    Look under /private/var/stash. You will see the Applications folder there name appended with some random characters. The Applications is just a symlink to this folder.

    Hope thats what you were looking for.

    If you want to find the applications installed via the App Store or iTunes, go to /User/Application/

    Each application is under is own folder named by a sequence of letters and numbers.
